ExStatic is the product of sole-proprietor David O'Brien. Dave is passionate about many things. His time is filled with snowboarding, animation, motion-graphics, outdoor-adventures, skateboarding and videography all while pursuing a degree in Animation at the Emily Carr University of Art + Design.

After gaining a diploma in Television Operations and Productions, Dave worked on a few projects as a Freelance Filmmaker in the Highlands of Scotland. As any big fish in a small pond would do, Dave left his roots to explore the world eventually landing in Vancouver, BC Canada.

Now that Dave is a small fish (possibly a Fantail Guppy) in a big Loch, he started educating himself in the ways of Experimental Animation at ECU while maintaining as a Freelancer and spending as much time as he can exploring the outdoors.
